Dell Venue review

Yes, it's the Dell Venue, and no, you still can't buy one outside Hong Kong or South Korea just yet. All we can speculate is that this Android phone is

Gorgeous design ; Surprisingly good camera ; Slick Stage UI

Camera affected by lens cover, cluttered UI ; Can't charge a drained battery from wall socket ; Backup utility not reliable

Dell Venue 11 Pro 7000 review

A powerful, small tablet that wants to play in the big leagues

Performance ; Battery life ; Compact design

Cramped screen ; Modest battery gains over i5 model ; Ergonomics

A computing chameleon, the Venue 11 Pro is a versatile Windows tablet with enterprise features that can readily convert to a laptop or desktop with the right accessory add-ons.

Review: Dell Venue

The Android-based Dell Venue is, like the Windows-based Venue Pro, neither svelte nor lightweight. But does pack a punch.

Unlocked. Tough Gorilla Glass screen takes all kinds of abuse. Huge screen is great for those with man hands. Did we mention it’s unlocked

Android 2.2. Poor camera performance in low-light settings. Dell’s skin on top of Android isn’t terrible, but most applications are better replaced with third-party offerings

Dell Venue (AT&T)

The Dell Venue is a beautiful Android phone, but it's merely class-competitive instead of a leader.

Attractive. Large, vibrant screen. Responsive. Smooth video playback.

Expensive. Heavy. Some reception issues. A little buggy.

OS, Dell Stage, and Apps The Dell Venue runs Android 2.2, also known as Froyo. Dell has customized the OS rather heavily with what it calls Stage, a series of card-like widgets that give you home screen access to frequently used apps. It lets you swipe...

Dell Venue tablets pack pure Android

The bloatware-free 7- and 8-inch tablets run Android and start at affordable prices.

The Dell Venue 7 and 8 are refreshingly bloatware-free and start at affordable sub-$200 prices. Performance during casual use is stable and there's a microSD card expansion slot.

Performance slows down when downloading app updates or large files. The thick bezels slightly outdate the tablet's design.

The Dell Venue 7 is one of the best small tablet bargains. The larger Venue 8 is just as capable, however there are other 8-inch slates that offer more features for the same price.

Dell Venue review

Close your eyes and imagine this: you're a tech giant that has made billions of dollars on desktop and laptop computers. You were once one of the largest tech companies in America, and today you still...

To achieve true success, Dell must now focus on hardware. It's got sexy down pat, but there are some missteps along the way that make the Venue really hard to commit to. They've got the right idea for the screen but have somehow managed to muck it up...

Dell Venue Review

The Dell Venue was shown to the larger market at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Though currently available in certain Asian markets, an unlocked version will be made available to the U.S. in 2011. The Dell Venue shares many of the...

The Dell Venue is a decent phone and is ranked in at a solid 'Average' rating. If the Dell Venue had debuted earlier in the U.S. market, it may have been considered a game changer due to the design and specifications. However, in the current market,...
