Good hardware paired with in-progress software. Lenovo Explorer.
Solid design ; Decent tracking ; Easy setup
SteamVR support still a work-in-progress ; Strap is a little rigid
The Lenovo Explorer is a great piece of hardware, partially let down by work-in-progress software.

The best Mixed Reality headset yet?
Light ; Easy to install ; Good price ; Good resolution ; Decent build quality
Lenses are on the small side ; Gets hot in use ; Early days for Mixed Reality
The Lenovo Explorer is a good example of the potential of the Windows Mixed Reality platform, with an established manufacturer turning its hand to producing a well-built headset that handles virtual reality games and experiences well. We have high...

Lenovo's Explorer headset is one of the first Windows Mixed Reality devices, combining virtual reality with augmented reality for an immersive experience.
Wireless room tracking. Comfortable.
Requires powerful PC. Pricey.
The Lenovo Explorer will be available in October for $349 on its own, or $449 in a bundle with the motion controllers. Check back then for a full review.

Lightweight ; Removable headband cushions ; Small enough for children to wear
Build quality, in parts ; No adjustment possible for IPD ; Too small for large heads
As an easy-to-use headset that runs on modest hardware (by VR standards), the Explorer is a solid-enough choice. And if you’re looking for a headset to share with your kids, we’re not aware of a PC-connected VR device that will fit better.

The best chance VR has at going mainstream, as long as the problems are ironed out
In terms of pure hardware, what Lenovo has managed to build with the Lenovo Explorer is truly impressive. It’s incredibly lightweight and wonderfully comfortable and, at £399 for headset and controllers, it’s an absolute steal.

Las gafas Lenovo Explorer ejecutan Windows Mixed Reality, conocida anteriormente como Windows Holographic, y no requieren de sensores externos para sumergirte en un mundo virtual.
