It toasts to perfection either bread or bagels and the defrost & keep warm options are unique and time saving.

I was happy to get a toaster that lowers and raises automatically; I loved that feature with my OLD toaster that burned everything. This KitchenAid toaster takes a little longer, but it is worth the wait. Love it!

We have had the toaster for two weeks, has a nice look to it, toasts evenly, controls are simple to use, blue lights indicate approximately how much time is left.
