Philips 55POS9002 review: Philips' second OLED offers up irresistible subtlety, detail and naturalism. It's not the most dynamic OLED, however.
Excellent value ; Impressively detailed, natural pictures ; Attractive, space-saving design
Not the brightest OLED around ; Black levels not as deep as some OLEDs ; Android TV can frustrate
For a substantial corner of the serious AV world, the 55POS9002’s focus on subtlety, detail and naturalism will prove hard to resist – especially when they clock it’s price.

Adding Ambilight to OLED is brilliant, but this Philips has much more to offer.
Stunning HDR performance ; Ambilight is as lovely as ever ; Decent sound ; Nicely balanced delivery of non-4K content
Glaring app omissions ; Some rivals offer greater nuance ; Motion processing isn’t quite perfect
A real return to form for Philips and one of the finest TVs currently available, particularly for HDR

Philips returns to OLED with stunning results
Ambilight works a treat ; Excellent all-round picture quality ; Good value ; Attractive design
Android TV can annoy ; Slightly weak sound ; Complicated to use ; More dynamic images elsewhere
The way Philips’ new P5 picture processing partners with OLED screen technology in the 55POS9002 is a revelation, leading to some of the most natural and immersive pictures around. Add Philips’ lovely Ambilight technology to the mix, and at £2,000 the...

While the 55POS9002 isn’t the showiest OLED TV in town, it’s unexpectedly natural and refined pictures, plus affordable price, will win it many AV fans.

Ambilight meets OLED, but this Philips is so much more than a one-trick pony
Truly glorious HDR ; Ambilight is as awesome as ever ; Sounds pretty good ; Standard dynamic range (SDR) content is nicely balanced
A poor selection of apps ; Can be beaten for subtlety and motion processing
The Ambilight is awesome, but even if you took it away this would be one of the finest tellies that money can buy

Philips' second-generation OLED TVs gains a P5 video processor and still offers 4K, HDR, Android TV, and of course Ambilight. Here's our full review

Opinie eksperta : Audun Hage (lbtechreviews.com)
Philips has taken OLED and spiced it up with its ambient light Ambilight . The result is a TV with a picture experience out of the ordinary.
The Ambilight enhances the experience on an already excellent TV. The contrast stands out throughout the room!
The Philips monitor must do without Dolby Vision, perhaps the best HDR format.

Philips launch their second 4K OLED TV in the shape of the 9002
Superb blacks and contrast ratio ; Fantastic dynamic range ; Improved detail just above black ; Excellent picture accuracy ; Impressive image processing ; Wide viewing angles ; Ambilight
Minor software bug ; No Dolby Vision support
