The Honor Magic Vs is a big-screen folding smartphone here to take on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. Unfortunately, as we found out, the Galaxy is safe for now.
Easy to use when closed Two-day battery life Big screen is great for video Reasonable price
No app drawer No wireless charging Poor wide-angle camera
“The Honor Magic Vs has a pretty design and glorious open-screen visuals, but the disappointing software, poor quality camera, and concerns over durability mean it can't be recommended.”

Foldables out of China are going global left and right, aiming to challenge Samsung's dominance in the field, and the Honor Magic Vs is the latest to make...
Lightweight for its size.
No official IP rating (though it's admittedly only the Galaxies that have that).
Of all the Galaxy comparisons going one way or the other, however, the Honor is losing the all-important one for overall value for money. It may sound like an outlandish concept for smartphones in the €1500 ballpark, but just because you clearly have a...

Despite Samsung's Galaxy Fold lineup now being in its fourth generation, it's so far faced little competition across much of the world. In China, buyers have a choice of tablet-style foldable devices from the likes of Xiaomi , Vivo , and Oppo , but...
Cover screen very usable ; (Slightly) cheaper than a Fold 4 ; Foldable perks
Android apps aren’t built for larger screen ; So-so camera quality ; MagicOS and other software quirks
Correction June 2nd, 10:40AM ET: This article originally stated, based on public reports, that the Magic VS would receive three years of Android updates and five years of security updates. This is incorrect. Honor has since confirmed the phone will...

The right changes to go global?
Promising price / performance balance ; Thinner and lighter than predecessor ; Impressive 66W fast charging
No wireless charging ; No IP rating
Honor's second-ever foldable looks like a considered update on the original that's ready to take on a global audience. With the chipset at play, a staggered release might place it a little behind the curve when it does eventually arrive, but it looks...

Samsung better watch out!
Premium design ; Gorgeous displays ; Solid camera system ; Surprisingly strong battery life ; Competitive price
Very noticeable crease ; No IP rating ; No wireless charging ; Last year’s Snapdragon chipset
The Honor Magic Vs has all the makings of a true combo breaker — an affordable foldable with premium stylings and enough performance to be an effective daily driver. There are some cutbacks like the lack of an IP rating to keep that cost down, but if...

The slimline foldable gets a beefier CPU and bigger battery for its European debut. Can the Honor Magic Vs challenge Samsung's Z Fold 4?
Slim design that folds completely flat ; Main camera competitive with other foldables ; Very keenly priced for a folding phone
Software still needs work ; Secondary cameras a step behind ; Missing some flagship features ; Last-gen CPU
High-end folding hardware at a great price, but the Magic Vs makes compromises to keep costs low and deserves a better software experience.

I have been using a folding phone for quite a few years now but up until the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 5G was available (and a nice tax rebate came my way),
I will also be getting an update on the pricing ad availability of the in the UK soon which I will share with you very soon. if you are thinking of getting a folding phone then watch this space as things are about to get more interesting and the is...

HONOR's foldable has a lot of wins for a foldable device but what are the things holding it back? Check out our HONOR Magic Vs Review
Opinie eksperta (tomsguide.com)
The Honor Magic Vs could have been a great foldable if not for a delayed global launch. As a result, it's a good phone with an uncertain future.
I don't recommend rushing to buy the Honor Magic Vs if you do happen to be living in Europe (especially since it's not on sale yet). It's likely best to wait a few months and see what the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Pixel Fold have to offer when they arrive....
