nice for a cheap unit.

 

It ran the apps just fine- it worked well till it got dropped

Could not take a drop. gave it to one of my kids for Christmas, got dropped and that was the end of it. Half the screen was dead from that point on.

Save your money

 

I purchased 2 as Christmas gifts. One was DOA and the other lasted 7 months. Save your money for an iPad or a Surface or anything else.

Horrible Customer service

 

If I had known that this product comes with absolutely no customer service I would have paid a bit more.

Price was good, when it works it works well

After a recent update if get more than 20 feet away from the router and no Internet connection, Known issue with other models and they list a firmware update for those other models, none listed for this specific S/N. Contacted them 3 different times...

If I had known that this product comes with absolutely no customer service I would have paid a bit more.

NextBook has admitted the problem; though, will not support. I am hoping that NewEgg can make up for Nextbook support failure. Still, why are failed products sold to consumers in the first place. ...looks like I am stuck with $480 of new paperweights...
