This $20 smart bulb is a perfect partner for Alexa

 

It isn't anything fancy, but the Alexa-compatible Eufy Lumos LED boasts solid specs and foolproof smart controls.

Anker's Eufy-branded smart bulb offers plenty of brightness, a surprisingly good app and full compatibility with Alexa. It doesn't need a hub -- just screw it in, turn it on and sync with your phone over Wi-Fi.

The Lumos LED doesn't work with Siri, the Google Assistant or IFTTT. You also can't use the app to schedule fades.

If you're just looking for a cheap-but-good smart bulb to pair with Alexa, put Eufy at the top of your list.
