Good for wall mounted speakers.

These allow good theater sound were there isn't room for floor standing speakers. Playing music would require a carefully matched sub.

I made a 7.1 set with G-28 LCR and G-12 surround and back with a Sub-10 all from NewEgg and connected to a Sony 1030 receiver. The center channel is weak and needed +6dB for clear dialogue. That is likely caused by the receiver. They sound better when...

Even with the passive radiators and ported enclosure, the 3" speakers don't have any low end but do blend well with a sub above 100Hz. I left the LCR set up as full range on the receiver for occasional use without the sub. They do have a little bass...
