Amazing fast

 

This is my 1st experience w SSD technology. I'm kinda concerned about the technology, not sure how long it will hold up. It's working well in my 3 yr old Lenovo laptap. I'm impressed so far.

Picked Up The Pace

 

I don't believe in synthetic benchmarks. I need to see some tangible change in my everyday work load. I upgraded to this from a SATA II SSD and yes, I do see a quickening of some of my video editing tasks. Also, the size is just enough that 75% of the...

Speed. Why else would you buy an SSD? Heat? None. Electric usage? My machine is a pretty hefty rig (oc’ed 2600K, 680 SLI, RAID 5) so any reduction in electric usage is just a drop in the bucket

None so far. Real test will be to see how it is running a year or two from now
