The Sony RX100 VII is a refresh, rather than full-scale upgrade of the popular RX100 series, but does this pocket-powerhouse do enough to tempt you?
Great image quality;Manual controls;Good video options
Very high price ;No front grip ;Fiddly buttons

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VII point-and-shoot is a modest update to the RX100 VI, offering better autofocus and video stabilization for a bit more money.
Opinie eksperta : Dan Bracaglia , Richard Butler (dpreview.com)
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VII is the most capable pocket camera currently on the market thanks to a combo of good image quality, smooth stabilized 4K and an industry-leading autofocus implementation. For these reasons it receives our gold award.
The RX100 VII is the most capable pocket camera ever made, both in terms of video and stills. But on paper it doesn't seem to offer much over the RX100 VI: the lens is the same, the pixel count is the same, the body is unchanged and image/video quality...

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VII is a high-speed, large sensor long zoom compact. It uses the same 24-200mm equiv lens as its predecessor but claims to incorporate the capabilities of the pro sports-oriented a9 in a pocketable format.
Opinie eksperta : Cam Bunton (pocket-lint.com)
Sony's powerful, portable compact camera is a fantastic advertisement for the limping segment of the market.
Powerful video/stills quality ; Image stabilisation ; Mic input ; Fast and accurate autofocus ; Decent low-light performance ; Tiny size considering its 1in sensor ; Useful pop-up viewfinder
Battery doesn't last all that long ; Shutter button needs more feedback/travel and buttons are too small ; Zoom limits maximum aperture at longer focal lengths ; It's really expensive
About as perfect as small-scale, high-end compact cameras get. If you can afford one, that is, as this has never been a budget series.

The Sony RX100 Mark VII is an amazing technical achievement, but so was the Apollo space program, and look what that cost
Ultra-high-speed shooting ; Fast, high-tech AF ; Great 4K video
Fiddly EVF ; Slippery finish ; Small controls
On paper, the RX100 VII is amazing. Its size is amazing, its 24-200mm lens is pretty amazing, its high-speed shooting is amazing and its latest-gen AF system is amazing. The only thing that’s not amazing is the experience of actually using it. This is...

Looking for a camera that is pocketable, easy to use, but gives you great performance in photo and video? Check out our in-depth Sony RX100 VII review.
+ True DSLR-level imaging quality ; + Good for video recording ; + Built-in mic sounds good ; + Finally has an external mic jack ; + Compact ; + Can charge using powerbank ; + Can zoom a far distance ; + Touchscreen display
- Uses MicroUSB instead of USB-C ; - Battery life could be better ; - Easily overheats when recording in 4K ; - Adjusting ISO is a little troublesome ; - Pricey
The Sony RX100 VII is a great compact camera can offer you more than any smartphone cameras out there. It's way easier and the results are more consistent.
Opinie eksperta : Jim Fisher (computershopper.com)
Sharp 8x zoom lens. Electronic viewfinder. 1-inch sensor design. 20fps capture with subject tracking. Eye detection for people and pets. Tilting touch screen. 4K video with external microphone port.
Expensive. Can't start video while images are writing to card. Limited touch functions.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VII point-and-shoot is a modest update to the RX100 VI, offering better autofocus and video stabilization for a bit more money.
Opinie eksperta : Wilson Wong (techgoondu.com)
The Sony RX100 VII is the camera for folks who want a bit more quality than from a smartphone and who want it in a still relatively small package.
