SK8500-serien er en av LGs toppmodeller for 2018. Den slanke designen kan absolutt minne om OLED-skjermene fra samme hold. 55SK8500 har en glatt bakside med innfelte tilkoblinger, som også gjør den enkel å veggmontere.

Meget god kontrast og fargegjengivelse. Bra svartnivå. God bildebehandling med meget jevne bevegelser gjør den godt egnet til det meste av TV-innhold.

En forstyrrende effekt med vertikale linjer/støy trekker ned totalinntrykket på sport.
