Great for writing to Blue ~Ray Discs.

Will not play on PC without the necessary software. For Example Power DVD at an extra cost of approx. £50

Worked out of the box, didn't require any software installation on my Windows setup. Replaced a well used Blu Ray writer and this one was faster and read some less than perfect BD-RE discs with no problem.

Exactly as expected and easy to install. Comes with fittings (excluding sata cable) and some backup software from cyber link. I haven't use the software yet as I am just archiving docs and photos thus far and have been content to use native support...

Bought as an extra drive for BluRay to BluRay copying and together with free Cyberlink software, does the job superbly.
