Silly name notwithstanding, the slick Sony Bloggie MHS-PM5 is easy to use and delivers great image quality and solid features for an affordable HD pocket camcorder.

Low price. Sharp video and 5-megapixel still images. 2.4-inch LCD. 270-degree swiveling lens. Memory is expandable.

Only top half of display is viewable during video recording. No HDMI out for playback on HDTVs. No mic input or macro focusing feature.
